The Challenge
What they were facing
Giuseppe Gaspari is a REALTOR with Real Brokerage serving the entire Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. His challenge was common among real estate agents: he needed a professional online presence that could compete with large brokerages and established agents across multiple cities. Rather than just one generic real estate website, he needed to rank organically in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Vernon, Summerland, and Penticton. Without dedicated location pages, his site would never appear in local searches like 'realtor in Lake Country' or 'Peachland homes for sale.' He needed a website that positioned him as the local expert in every Okanagan community he serves.
Our Approach
How we solved it
We designed and built a complete Next.js 16 website from the ground up with a location-first SEO strategy. The site features 7 dedicated pillar pages—one for each Okanagan city Giuseppe serves—each optimized with unique content about the local real estate market, neighbourhood highlights, lifestyle information, and community-specific FAQs. We implemented comprehensive schema markup (RealEstateAgent, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) across every page to maximize rich snippet eligibility. The site uses static export for blazing-fast load times, Web3Forms for lead capture, and a clean, professional design that builds trust with potential home buyers and sellers. Every page was submitted to Google Search Console and indexed.

Why Real Estate Agents Need Location-Specific Pages
Most real estate agent websites make the same mistake: one page trying to cover an entire region. That doesn't work in the Okanagan Valley, where a buyer searching for 'Kelowna realtor' has very different needs than someone looking for 'Peachland waterfront homes.' Visit
to see what a properly structured real estate website looks like.
Key Point:
Each of the 7 location pages targets specific local keywords, features unique neighbourhood content, and includes community-specific FAQs. This isn't a template swap—it's a genuine local SEO strategy.
When someone searches 'realtor in West Kelowna' or 'Lake Country real estate agent,' Google wants to show them a page that's specifically about that area. A generic 'I serve the Okanagan' page simply can't compete with a dedicated pillar page packed with local expertise.
- •76% of home buyers start their agent search on Google
- •Location-specific pages rank 3x better than generic service area pages
- •Real estate searches with city names have high commercial intent
- •Mobile searches for 'realtor near me' have increased 200% in 5 years
Section 2
The 7-City Pillar Page Strategy
We built dedicated pages for every community Giuseppe serves across the Okanagan Valley. Each page is a genuine pillar—not thin content, but comprehensive guides to living and buying in each area.
- 1.Kelowna — The urban centre of the Okanagan with diverse neighbourhoods from downtown condos to Upper Mission luxury homes
- 2.West Kelowna — Family-friendly communities with vineyard views and newer developments in Lakeview Heights and Shannon Lake
- 3.Lake Country — The small-town feel with Kalamalka Lake access, growing families, and a tight-knit community
- 4.Peachland — Lakefront living with a village atmosphere, popular with retirees and lifestyle buyers
- 5.Vernon — North Okanagan hub with more affordable options, Silver Star proximity, and agricultural charm
- 6.Summerland — Wine country living with orchard heritage, arts community, and stunning lake views
- 7.Penticton — South Okanagan gateway between two lakes, tourism-driven economy, and recreational lifestyle
Each page links to the
site where buyers can connect with Giuseppe directly for that specific market.
"A dedicated page for each city signals to Google—and to potential clients—that you're not just another agent who 'covers the area.' You're the local expert."

Technical Build: Next.js, Schema, and Performance
Under the hood, the
is built on the same technology stack we use for high-performance
projects.
- •Next.js 16 with static export — pre-rendered HTML for instant load times and perfect Core Web Vitals
- •RealEstateAgent schema — structured data telling Google exactly who Giuseppe is, where he works, and what he does
- •FAQPage schema on every location page — enabling rich snippet eligibility in search results
- •BreadcrumbList schema — clear site hierarchy for search engine crawlers
- •Web3Forms integration — instant lead notifications without server-side infrastructure
- •Responsive design — optimized for mobile where 60%+ of real estate searches happen
- •Image optimization — WebP format with lazy loading for fast visual experience
Key Point:
The static export architecture means the site loads in under 1 second on mobile. In real estate, speed equals trust—and trust equals leads.

SEO Strategy: From Zero to Indexed in 7 Markets
Building a fast website isn't enough. We implemented a comprehensive
that covers both technical and content optimization.
- 1.Keyword Research — Identified high-intent terms like 'Kelowna realtor,' 'Lake Country real estate agent,' and 'West Kelowna homes for sale' for each market
- 2.On-Page Optimization — Title tags, meta descriptions, header hierarchy, and internal linking all optimized per page
- 3.Schema Markup — RealEstateAgent, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList structured data on every page
- 4.Google Search Console — Site verified, sitemap submitted, all 7 location pages requested for indexing
- 5.Internal Linking — Every location page connects to related pages, creating a strong topical cluster
- 6.Content Depth — Each pillar page includes neighbourhood details, lifestyle information, and FAQs that demonstrate genuine local expertise
The result: all 7 location pages indexed and competing in their respective local markets.
Section 5
Results: A Real Estate Lead Machine
Within weeks of launching, the site was fully indexed across all target markets. Here's what the data shows:
- •7 location pillar pages indexed — one for each Okanagan city
- •20+ total pages — comprehensive site with about, contact, and community pages
- •100/100 Lighthouse performance — fastest possible load times
- •Full schema markup — RealEstateAgent, FAQ, and Breadcrumb structured data
- •Mobile-optimized — responsive design scoring perfectly on all devices
- •Lead capture active — Web3Forms delivering inquiries directly to Giuseppe
Key Point:
This is what happens when web design, SEO strategy, and local market knowledge come together. Every page is a potential entry point for a new client.

Key Insights
What we learned
Location-based pillar pages are essential for real estate agents serving multiple cities. A single generic page can't compete with dedicated content targeting 'realtor in Lake Country' or 'Peachland real estate agent.' Each page needs unique neighbourhood content, not just a city name swap.
Schema markup gives real estate websites a significant edge in search results. RealEstateAgent schema helps Google understand who you are and where you serve, while FAQPage schema can earn rich snippets that dominate the SERP.
Static site architecture (Next.js with static export) delivers perfect performance scores, which is a ranking factor. When a potential buyer searches on their phone for a local agent, your site needs to load instantly or they'll bounce to a competitor.
A real estate website is a lead generation system, not a digital brochure. Every page needs clear calls-to-action, contact forms, and trust signals that convert visitors into consultations.
